Privacy Policy
CohesionOS ("we", "us", "our") operates ColdPitch. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. By using ColdPitch you agree to this policy.
1. What We Collect
- Account data: Your email address when you register or sign in.
- Generation inputs and outputs: The prospect details and context you provide, and the email copy we generate for you.
- IP address: Collected automatically on each request for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, generation counts, and credit consumption — to understand how the product is used.
- Payment data: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID; we never see or store your card details.
2. Why We Collect It
- To provide the service: Processing your inputs and returning generated emails is the core function of ColdPitch.
- To prevent abuse: IP address and usage data help us enforce rate limits and terms of service.
- To improve the product: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns inform feature development. We do not use your individual email content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
- To communicate with you: We send transactional emails (receipts, account notices) and, if you opt in, product updates.
3. Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Polsia (CohesionOS infrastructure). Sensitive fields, including OAuth tokens and payment identifiers, are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. We retain generation data for up to 12 months unless you request deletion sooner.
4. Third Parties
- OpenAI / Anthropic: Your generation inputs are sent to AI providers to produce email copy. Their data handling is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Stripe: Processes all payments. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Polsia (CohesionOS): Provides hosting and infrastructure for the ColdPitch application.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@coldpitch.ai with the subject line "Delete my account". We will process your request within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
